This week I’d like to share with you the York County local market update for October 2018. If you find after reviewing these numbers that you would like to speak with anyone from the Linda Hall Team, please contact us. We are eager to assist you and answer any questions you might have.
So let’s start by looking at what happened in October beginning with the number of new listings that came on the market. In 2017, we had 397 new listings in October and in 2018, that number increased by 26.7 percent to 503 new listings to the market. Pretty significant!
The pending sales in October of 2017, were 344 and rose by 23 percent in 2018, at 423 pending sales. Another increase!
The median sales price was $237,000 in 2017 and went up by 5.5 percent in 2018, to $250,000.
The days on market held even at 43 days for both 2017 and 2018.
I hope this helps you understand the local market and that it assists you in making a decision on whether to put your home on the market or purchase your first home.
