Fort Mill’s Real Estate Market Update For December 2018

Last time we looked at the Tega Cay Real Estate Market Update for December 2018 and so this week we are going to turn our focus to the Fort Mill Real Estate Market Update for December 2018.  We created this video that will showcase a quick overview of the market.

We start this off by reviewing the median days on market. In 2016, there were 32 median days on market for listings. In 2017, the median days on market number increased by +40.6 percent to 45 days on market! In 2018, that number decreased by -35.6 percent lowering it below both 2016 AND 2017, to 29 median days on market!

Next, we look at the new listings that came on the market and we start in 2016, which saw 57 new listings enter the market. In 2017, that number increased by +66.7 percent to 95 listings and in 2018, we decreased by -28.4 percent to 68 new listings coming on the market.

Finally, we look at the Median Sales Price in December. In 2016, the median sales price was $330,905 and in 2017, it increased by +7.4 percent to $355,450 and in 2018, it increased once again by +2.7 percent to $365,000.
